自六十年代Yardbirds時期開始走到現在.
從Rock, Blue, Jazz, Fusion...
不妥協且追求完美的精神.
很高興有機會欣賞到這位真正的英國搖擺傳奇人物的演出.

演唱會最後一首歌正是它.
一下只往事湧上來了.

在牛棚看見很多家駒珍貴的遺物如結它, 音效, 手稿等.
同時也看見很多有心如我的歌迷.
突然有一份驕傲的感覺.
我們追隨的樂團.
永遠是香港搖滾音樂歷史上最有力量的代表.

由於早前換了電腦,
趁機便把一大堆的cd滙入電腦.
整個過程帶給我很多的回憶.
從前嘗試聽很多.
以往卻不像現在的容易.
得來容易, 怕不懂珍惜.
耳朵是不夠的, 還要用心去欣賞音樂.
然後各自擁有自己的音樂空間.
在哪裡你會得到平靜和安撫.

好了! 一口氣簡單談了Neil Young, Neal Schon, Johnny Winter.
剩下來好應該是我的最愛Mark Knopfler.
1949年蘇格蘭格拉斯哥出生.
在英國北部紐卡素長大.
流著歐洲傳統優美旋轉的音樂血脈.
從Dire Straits走到個人發展.
Mark Knopfler獨有的fingerpicking深深迷倒了我.
有別於其他結它手的急勁, 較著重感人(touching)的音質.
所以從他的結它住住傳來陣陣動人窩心的句子.
不論是Soundtrack, Solo album 還是Dire Straits.
它們永遠都是我的喜好.
他的作品豐富了我的生命.

每當我對結它產生懷疑, 聽聽他就好了.
他是我十分欣賞的藍調結它手Johnny Winter.

1944年Texas出生的Johnny.
一路過著我行我素的生活.
又長又直的金髮.
滿佈紋身的身軀.
半帶邪惡的樣子
造型已夠嚇人.
千萬不要少看這位瘦削老頭.
他的結它之辛辣是五星級呀!

一支Gibson Firebird.
火氣兇悍的叫喊.
超凡的Electric Slide Guitar.
舞臺下的大家都會熱得要命.
要是你要和他鬥快鬥狠, 不如找死好了.
唯一方法只有跟隨魔鬼的節奏起舞.
投入藍調搖滾的烏托邦.

There's a famous story about a time in 1962 when Johnny and his brother went to see B.B. King at a Beaumont club called the Raven. The only whites in the crowd, they no doubt stood out. But Johnny already had his chops down and wanted to play with the revered B.B."I was about 17," Johnny remembers, "and B.B. didn't want to let me on stage at first. He asked me for a union card, and I had one. Also I kept sending people over to ask him to let me play. Finally, he decided that there enough people who wanted to hear me that, no matter if I was good or not, it would be worth it to let me on stage. He gave me his guitar and let me play. Neal Schon在Journey中, 我對他不太起眼.
直到他個人專輯Late Nite的出現.
樂章的澎湃好像刺痛了我.
人生一切的苦痛一下子都給發洩出來.
這是我第一次感受到電結它豐富的激情.
脆弱的感情線經過完全的撕破然後仿佛全部重組過來.

接著Neal Schon在Beyond The Thunder專輯,
找到了充滿著優美的結它jazz tone.
加上其動人的手法和樂曲,
這便是他最可愛的地方.
接著一切都如流水行雲.

他最了不起的地方是可以駕馭搖滾樂的動與靜.
動起來可以很爛很有力量,
是一種夾雜著Grunge和Punk的基本動力.
靜起來整個專輯只有木結它, 口琴和鋼琴都叫人迷醉著魔.
要是他一個人在臺上表演都會令人驚喜處處.

在林木森森的山區辛勤工作了一天.
在清晰的月亮下我們一起共享最美味豐富的晚餐.
然後在這繁星點點寧靜的草原上爐邊夜話.
聽著木結它, 口琴和Neil Young的歌聲.
吸取大自然最原始純潔的空氣.
呼出來是你我對生活的愛.
這就是我對Harvest Moon專輯的感覺.
這裡就是人間天堂.

Eric Clapton Live in Hong Kong

Eric Clapton昨晚在赤角的亞洲國際博覽館舉行了一場演唱會.
票子半年前已買好了真是期待已久.
一個很高音樂水準的演唱會.
眾樂手們都非常犀利.
即興的演奏充滿著驚喜.
特別喜歡他們對樂曲編曲的層次和安排.


Eric Clapton唱了wonderful tonight, layla, cocaine...
沒有tears in heaven令不少聽眾失望.
我不知道Eric有沒有欺場.
結他之神Eric Clapton,
我有何方法知道神有沒有欺場呢?
世上沒有第二個Eric Clapton般全面和手法熟練的結他手.
無論如何這是令我興奮難忘的一夜.

赤角的亞洲國際博覽館不單遠, 交通安排也非常不方便.
裡裡外外實在看不出博覽館是一個世界級的音樂表演場地.
就算去到機場, 我還是清楚身在如此這般的地方.

從fender frontline到 your body is wonderland.
在youtube看了兩三段, 我便肯定了.
唱得作得, 又玩得一手世界級結它.
無論是folk, rock, acoustic, blue都十分全面.
新一代的Guitar Hero.
十年難得一見的Guitar Legend.
