他首次嚐到成名滋味的音樂劇是Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Sarah Brightman是他的第二任妻子.

但兩人仍是很好的拍檔.
1986年The Phantom of the Opera在倫敦首演, 迴響熱烈.
